We opened in North Spokane on the corner of Francis and Nevada on January 2, 1990 with cheesesteaks and subs. Rolls baked daily. Steak sliced thin. That was the whole operation.
Fries came later, and Bruchi Sauce came with them. Then we started smashing burgers and put that sauce on those too. The Double Smash is now the most ordered thing on our menu — which we did not see coming, but we're not arguing with it.
Then huckleberry ice cream showed up. A cheesesteak place with huckleberry only makes sense around here, so it stayed. Every kids meal comes with a scoop.
We make everything the second you order it. No heat lamps. 36 years in, that part hasn't changed.
